We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information, including prices and promotions, has been mis-published or otherwise erroneously placed on the GreenFerngardenfurniture website.
The content of this Site is owned by or licensed to GreenFern. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, re-sell, display, post or transmit any part of this Site without the permission of GreenFern. You may view or print individual pages only for your own personal use. GreenFern may suspend, alter, restrict or terminate at any time access to or use of this Site.
We shall not be liable to any person or entity for any loss or damage, which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website, or for the use of this website. There are hypertext links in this site which lead to third party websites, which are not under our control. When you activate any of these links, you will leave our website: please be aware that we can accept no responsibility or liability in respect of the material on any website which is not under our control.
All prices quoted are in British pounds (£). If the price goes up or down between your placing and receiving your order, we will honour the original price. Our VAT registration number is GB 133 7486 05. Errors in pricing will be notified to you and you will be given the option to withdraw from the contract.
We aim to display only items that are in stock and which can be dispatched to you quickly. From time to time we may sell out of some lines, in which case we will aim to advise you within the quoted delivery period. If this does occur, you will be given the opportunity to order an alternative or receive a full refund for the full price you paid.
Products sold on greenferngardenfurniture.co.uk are for use in a domestic setting. If you wish to purchase items for commercial use please contact GreenFern on 03333 212 817 to discuss your needs. Products for commercial use get more wear and tear than in a domestic environment. For this reason we request that you contact us to discuss your requirements.
You may return any delivered products you have purchased within 14 days of delivery for any reason (including if you simply change your mind). To do so you must notify us in writing via email or post within 14 days of delivery.
If you are returning a product for any reason, except for damage or manufacturing defect, you must pay the costs of returning the products to us or our suppliers. On request, we will collect the products from you, but the cost of this will be charged to you and we may deduct this from the refund. Return carriage can be expensive!

and you have notified us within 14 working days, we may replace the item or affected parts or you may cancel the order and receive a full refund. You will not be charged for the costs of returning the product.
If a product arrives damaged you must make a note on the carriers delivery note. You must also report such damage to GreenFern immediately via email or phone. You are requested to provide a photographic record of the damage and submit this with the notifying email.
We will not accept returns or cancellations if the products have been altered in any way.
While in your possession, you must keep any products you intend to return to us in good condition. Products must be returned in the same condition as they were delivered, and in the same packaging. If products were delivered flat packed they must be returned in the same way. Care must be taken to ensure the return products are packed well to avoid damage or loss of parts in transit.
GreenFurn reserves the right to remove, modify or change, without notice, any information on this Site from time to time. GreenFurn may change these terms at any time. If you use the Site after GreenFurn has posted the changes you will be bound by the new terms. You should therefore ensure that you read the terms each time you use the Site.
E-mails to you will be sent to the address you specify to us. You must only provide us with a valid e-mail address and it is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to that address.
To the extent that any provision of these terms is found by any court or authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed not to be a part of these terms and will not affect the enforceability of the remainder of these terms, nor will it affect the validity, lawfulness or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction.
The headings in these terms are for convenience only and do not affect their interpretation.
These terms supersede any representation made by us or any of our employees or agents.
The consumer’s contract with GreenFurn does not effect the consumer’s statutory rights.
Please note that the vast majority of the products on GreenFerngardenfurniture.co.uk are flatpacked, so some assembly will be required.
Unless otherwise stated all natural stone, ceramic tile, travertine, slate and moulded stone products should be protected from frost. Natural stone, marble and travertine stone is prone to staining and should be protected from spillages.
Delivery to Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands and the Scottish Highlands and Isles may be arranged subject to additional delivery charges.
Extra delivery charges to remote or outlying areas within the UK mainland may arise, in which case we will agree the charges with you as soon as possible, where applicable. Please see our Delivery page for full details on postcodes that attract a delivery surcharge.
GreenFurn will make all reasonable efforts to deliver products within the time specified, but does not accept liability for any failure to deliver within that time. Any times or dates stated on our website or confirmation emails regarding Delivery are estimates only. Whilst we agree to use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that delivery is made around the delivery time indicated, actual delivery is often via third party suppliers and carriers and can therefore be beyond our control.
Many items will require delivery using a pallet. It is a requirement that the Customer arranges to have someone available to take delivery of and assist the delivery driver. This person must be physically fit to assist the driver. Pallet deliveries are to the kerbside only, or as far as the driver is able to safely deposit the pallet; this is at the absolute discretion of the driver. Couriers and their drivers are not permitted to place the item inside your premises under any circumstances.
Incorrect personal details may lead to problems or delays in delivery, so before placing your order, please ensure that you have included the full address details, including accurate postcode of the delivery address and your daytime contact telephone number and e-mail address so we can notify you in the event of a delivery problem.
Delivery will be deemed as successfully made once the product has arrived at the address specified. A signature is required for proof of delivery.
Products will be deemed your responsibility once they have been received by you, your agent or the intended recipient. Any loss or damage to the products shall then be at your own risk.
Should delivery be refused or be unable to be made at the delivery address, and re-requested for another date, we may charge for the second delivery (the cost of this may be considerable,) since we met our delivery obligations with the initial delivery attempt.
It is the recipient’s responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier’s delivery note.
If boxes look damaged on delivery you are responsible to check the contents for damage before accepting and signing the delivery note. Should a product have damage on receipt of the order you are required to sign the delivery note accordingly and mark the delivery note stating the damage. Not doing so may affect a subsequent claim.
If a product arrives damaged you must make a note on the carriers delivery note. All Carriers work on the theory that a signature only denotes safe arrival of the whole consignment in good condition, and it is vital that damage and/or shortages are noted alongside your signature, and that you strike out the words “received in good condition.” You must also report such damage to GreenFern immediately via email or phone. You are requested to provide a photographic record of the damage and submit this with the notifying email.
Should the damage to the contents not be immediately obvious at the time of delivery you must inform GreenFern by email or phone within 48 hours after receipt. You are requested to provide a photographic record of the damage and submit same to GreenFern with the notifying email.
Please retain the packaging to facilitate uplift and replacement.
